Privacy
Effective August 1, 2026. This explains what CyberDive LLC, a Michigan limited liability company does with information that comes through this site and through project inquiries.
This policy applies to www.gocyberdive.com, the emails we exchange with you, and the inquiry channels CyberDive runs. It does not cover a client's own website, ad account, or customer data — those are governed by the agreement we sign with that client and by the platform's own policies. We use personal information only in the ways described here, in the ways we tell you at the point of collection, with your consent where that is required, or where the law otherwise allows it.
Whatever you hand us directly: name, email, company, role, phone if you include it, and the details you write into a project inquiry. If analytics or security tooling is running, we may also see technical basics — browser and device, IP address, the rough location that IP implies, which pages you opened, where you came from, and when. Please keep sensitive material out of the public form: no card numbers, health information, government IDs, or anything confidential to your own clients unless we have given you a secure way to send it.
We use it to answer you, to scope and run engagements, to send anything you asked for, to keep the site secure, to see in aggregate how the site is used, to improve what we offer, and to meet legal obligations. We may also follow up with a business contact about relevant CyberDive services, subject to whatever consent and opt-out rules apply where that person is.
Some technologies are simply required for the site to work and stay secure. If we switch on analytics, ad pixels, session replay, or anything else that is not strictly necessary, this page and the cookie notice will name the provider, what it collects, why, and what your options are. Where consent is required, we will ask before anything non-essential is set. Your browser settings can also block cookies, though some parts of the site may behave differently if you do.
A short list of vendors helps us host the site, run forms, send email, manage contacts, and measure performance. They work on our instructions, for the purposes above, under contract. We may also disclose information where we genuinely believe it is needed to follow the law, protect people or rights, stop fraud, or respond to a valid legal request. We do not sell personal information, and we do not share it for cross-context behavioral advertising except where that is expressly disclosed and permitted.
We hold inquiry and contact records only as long as we reasonably need them — to do the work, keep records, settle disputes, enforce agreements, and meet compliance duties. As a rule we clear inactive inquiry records after 24 months. We use reasonable administrative, technical, and organizational safeguards, but no system that touches the internet can be called perfectly secure, and we will not claim otherwise.
Depending on where you live, you may be able to ask for a copy of your information, have it corrected or deleted, get it in portable form, object to or narrow certain processing, or withdraw consent where consent is the basis for it. You can leave our mailing list at any time via the unsubscribe link. To make a request, write to privacy@gocyberdive.com with "Privacy Request" in the subject. We may need to confirm who you are first, and we may keep a minimal record that the request happened.
Information may be processed or stored in the United States or wherever else we or our providers operate, and those places may protect data differently than your home country does. Where a transfer mechanism is required, we will use an appropriate one along with any supplementary safeguards. If you are in the EU or UK and need details of the transfer mechanism we rely on, write to privacy@gocyberdive.com.
We will revise this page as our practices, tools, or legal obligations change, and the effective date at the top will tell you which version you are reading. Where a change is significant, we will say so on the site or through another suitable channel. Questions go to privacy@gocyberdive.com, or by post to CyberDive LLC, 33149 Tall Pine Ct, Chesterfield, MI 48047, United States.
